We’ve stayed here many times and love it! The staff are all lovely and so helpful. The breakfasts are fantastic and the customer service is excellent. I will however say that the rest of the menu is limited for vegans and vegetarians. We stayed in a garden room with a balcony and it was very nice. However, the carpet had lots of marks all over it and the side of the bed looked grubby but had a cover on it. The furniture on the balcony wasn’t at all comfortable and we were linked to other people’s balconies which was a bit odd. This meant we could hear people outside in the night which was unnerving and we could also smell their cigarette smoke too, which was not very nice. We stayed for two nights and were only given two toilet rolls. The shower pressure was terrible and the angle of the shower meant that it was very hard to actually get water on your body. Lastly, the shower curtain was in the way and kept sticking to us. It would have been much better to use a shower door. We did have a great time though and will definitely be back!

Everything. A unique property, a privilege to stay anywhere like this. The staff matched the property, every one of them that we met were super friendly and so efficient. They were also so accommodating and always with a smile 😃. The grounds are spectacular as is the house. The guest toilets on the first floor are probably the freshest we have ever seen. The food was very good, cooked breakfasts were super. In places It has got a bit of a "faded glory" aura about it, but this does not detract from its charm. Just ignore the fact that our bedroom windows had definitely seen better days! Go and enjoy it!!

Lovely period property surrounded by well curated gardens and with direct access to walks into the forest. The hotel is dog friendly and it is a small oasis of peace in north london with easy access to amenities and connections to the city center. The breakfast restaurant room and bar are beautiful and so are the gardens. I was in the garden lodge room, it was very comfortable and clean, I travel with my two small dogs and I am pleased I have found this hotel, very peaceful and convenient, I will return often.

Location is nice. Staff are nice. The grounds of the hotel is nice. It’s quite. Beds are not bad. Staff are lovely hotel knew we were bringing a dog they put out a dog bed and bowl and the staff even gave him a treat. There was an event going on and there were so many people but the staff made sure we were also looked after. One of them got annoyed when he was talking our order at the bar but came and apologised as he was short staffed for awhile. The rooms are nice and clean . Overall the hotel is nice

The location was very idyllic, and easy to find by following the brown signs. Nice grounds to walk through The room was very large and spacious, bed very comfortable and good for a person with a bad back. Good breakfast, with a good selection in the main house and very light and airy. Staff, welcoming and friendly. We were in the Garden Rooms to the back, which did mean we didn't hear the party going on in the main house. Would definitely go back if in the area.
